1. The Transfiguration
Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and
John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone.

Yesus membawa Petrus, Yakobus, dan Yohanes,
saudaranya, ke gunung yang tinggi.
2. As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was
transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and
his clothes became as white as light. Suddenly,
Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with
Jesus.
Di depan mereka, Yesus berubah rupa: Muka-
Nya menjadi terang seperti matahari dan
pakaian-Nya putih berkilauan. Kemudian ketiga
pengikut-Nya itu melihat Musa dan Elia
berbicara dengan Yesus.
3. A bright cloud overshadowed them, and a
voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son,
who brings me great joy. Listen to him.”
The disciples were terrified and fell face
down on the ground. Then Jesus came over
and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t
be afraid.” And when they looked up, Moses
and Elijah were gone, and they saw only
Jesus.
Awan yang terang sekali meliputi mereka dan dari awan
itu terdengar suara yang berkata, “Inilah Anak-Ku yang
Kukasihi. Aku sangat berkenan akan Dia. Dengarkanlah
Dia!”
Mendengar itu para murid jatuh tersungkur. Mereka
sangat ketakutan. Yesus menghampiri dan menyentuh
mereka serta berkata, “Bangunlah! Jangan takut!” Dan
ketika mereka menengadah, hanya Yesuslah yang ada
bersama dengan mereka.
