Most students preferred revision seminars to be held during periods 1-4 with period 5 being optional. The vast majority wanted the seminars to help them learn both knowledge and exam techniques. Over 80% wanted input into the topics studied and most preferred working in pairs or small groups rather than individually or as a whole class. Over 70% thought homework should be stopped during seminars and over 90% were interested in optional or compulsory top-up seminars before exams after half term. Close to 90% thought non-uniform should be allowed for at least seminars.
