Yamaha Fazer is a stylish, sporty and stand-out Sports Tourer by India Yamaha Motor which was introduced in 2009 with beautiful contours, aerodynamic cowling and excellent ergonomics. It is a fabulously designed two-wheeler with sporty twin headlight having a strong parking light in the center, its carbon patterned and aerodynamic cowl with wind protector, super-stylish, cool and exciting body graphics, a useful chain protector, long and wide sear for comfy riding position with a specially designed grab bar, a large and well sculpted fuel tank, a long and wide rear fender, its MidShip muffler at center, 17-inch black alloy wheels with 100/80 section tubeless radial tire at front and a wider 140/60 section tubeless radial tire at rear(India's first radial tire with 60% aspect ratio) and a nicely positioned handle bar. It is powered by a 153cc, 4-stroke, forward-inclined single cylinder, 2-valves, air-cooled, SOHC based petrol engine with a maximum power of 13.8bhp at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 13.6Nm at 6,000rpm and is mated with a constant-mesh five speed gearbox transmission to give a top speed of above 120kmph with a mileage of 35kmpl in the cities and 45kmpl on the highways. It has got 267mm diameter disk brake with two-pot calipers at front and drum brakes at rear along with a suspension system of telescopic forks at front and 7-step adjustable mono cross at rear.
