I am writing with great delight and the distinct honor a reference on the strength of character and
integrity of Xinye He. I have had the pleasure of teaching Xinye as a graduate Project Management student at
Valparaiso University and was extremely impressed by his affluence in his creative ability and consistently
providing results that were both impressive and precise. His work was always honest and accurate. While
most students could only replicate strategies from textbook samples, Xinye approached solutions in
innovative ways by consulting recent publications, journals, and anything he could find within his reach. His
clear understanding of Project Management theories and communications made him a valuable and strong
student. Xinye has a level of confidence and due diligence that has made him successful in his collegiate and
professional career. He was always responsible, well prepared and well-spoken. He has the innate ability to
persevere and lead a team successfully and has the humility to be a team member when needed. His kind
nature always made his team want to follow him. On the exterior, Xinye may appear to be shy and timid.
These actions however, hide an intelligent person who knows how to critically think and complete tasks.
Xinye helped me with numerous professional tasks and projects ranging from gathering contacts to
programming time-lines/schedules to maintaining consistency and accuracy. Xinye is confident and
intelligent and has the essential ability to carry out independent research and projects. Whatever job he
chooses to pursue, I am confident that he will further advance his understanding in the field and gain more
valuable experiences in practice. Therefore, I strongly recommend Salim without reservation and would
