I am writing this as a reference on the behalf of Marsha Golob. Marsha and I
have worked together for over two years at XIOtech Corporation in Eden Prairie.
Marsha’s primary function was management, coordination and translation of
marketing messages into visual messages at various company events. Most of
these events were related to trade show activity situated around the U.S. and
Europe.
Marsha’s energy is legendary. At one point XIOtech was participating in more
than 50 shows on an annualized basis. Marsha was able to orchestrate all the
arrangements in sequence, dedicating many hours during the week plus many
weekends to make sure everything came off just perfect.
Marsha was also exemplary in her ability to build relationships with the trade
show promoters as well as labor staff. On many occasions she was able to obtain
discounts and/or special privileges based on the strength of these relationships.
The result was a better competitive impact for XIOtech at these events.
It is not an easy task to translate marketing direction into show execution and
our integrated marketing. Budget is always a factor at XIOtech and Marsha got
every dollar worth out of each project she managed. She is a good designer,
always thinking about the best visual impact for any given situation. XIOtech
was very successful with events and strategic marketing while Marsha managed
the team.
