on creating long sentences and using complex words when
speaking to high-level professionals.
 Experts suggest that all business writing
should follow a basic report format. It should
present its main point clearly in the
introduction, elaborate in straightforward body
paragraphs, and sum up the takeaway in a
conclusion. For lengthy pieces, headings and
subheadings help to organize thoughts and
cue the reader to topic changes, but these
are no substitute for concise language.
Finally, a thorough edit is key to ensure clarity
and flow.
