  9. Remember that the Justice Department will look at the entire District budget when determining if we violated the ADA. We have to ask ourselves “if we provide additional employees, will this registrant with a disability be able to more fully participate in the program?”
  10. Remember: we are required to provide a support staff if the individual does not provide their own.
  11. Some times we allow children with autism to eat away from the table if they can otherwise fully participate in the classroom.
  12. Transition plan allocates 30,000 annually. Example: restroom doors at WAAC.
