Task 9.1 -Training and Support Coordination and
Leveraging
• Activity 1 - Coordinate EOSC Future training activities to ensure
technical uptake and engagement
o include gap analysis, planning, performance monitoring...
• Activity 2 - Cross-domain EOSCTraining Alignment and EOSC-wide
training infrastructure
o Building on the Community of Practice (CoP) forTraining Coordinators and on
EOSC projects and EOSC association,
o Formulate a joint vision and a roadmap for training activities for EOSC and
ensure it develops a network of training,
o Leveraging relevant training networks and initiatives (regional & domains),
o Develop good practices for training in EOSC, harmonising learning
outcomes, measuring the impact of EOSC-related training,
o Set up Rules of Participation, defined minimal set of rights, obligations of
training service providers, workflows for onboarding in the EOSC Portal,
o Co-create a checklist for quality assurance in line with relevant certification
schemes and minimum requirements for EOSC training providers.
Engage in a coordinated
manner with technical
support teams,
INFRAEOSC-07 projects,
EOSC initiatives and
providers, to enable
researchers and research
group to use EOSC data,
software, and services.
eoscfuture.eu @EOSCFuture
Task 9.2 -Training Delivery and Content
Integration for EOSC
Assembling and delivering EOSCTraining Programmes:
• design cross-domain and cross-infrastructure EOSC participation
training courses reusing and integrating existing training resources and
the resources that will be developed byWP9 and related EOSC projects,
• built on learning paths and will contain one or more courses and will be
aimed primarily at EOSC end-users, providers, trainers & data stewards.
• Relevant training materials that already exist will be re-used and new
training materials will be created for any gaps in the training provision.
• Course modules and other learning materials within the programmes will
be re-usable and can be applied across regions and multiple disciplines.
Ensure that EOSC end
users or providers knows
how to engage with and
make use of EOSC and to
upskill EOSC end-users
and service providers to
enable full participation in
the EOSC.

Task 9.2 -Training Delivery and Content
Integration for EOSC
Assembling and delivering EOSCTraining Programmes for:
• EOSC users: Training programme to discover and (re) use of EOSC data, services and
software, contribute to FAIR research outputs, present tools and best practices.
• Research infrastructures staff: Training programme and tools to connect and
empower the experts from different topics and clusters and foster a common
understanding and alignment of needs and solutions for EOSC across actors.
• EOSC content providers and resources providers: The course materials will
target different levels of maturity on how they can provide their resources to EOSC.
• Policy makers: Learning resources on matching EOSC requirements, EOSC
opportunities and benefits as well as for policy and business-related issues such as OS
rewards and incentives.
• For trainers: EOSC Trainer Programme empowering a cohort of EOSC trainers with
trainer bootcamps, training materials and tools for engaging with EOSC.
A multiplier train-the-
trainers approach will be
the main strategy to build
and sustain training.
Thematic Trainer
Bootcamps will be
organized.

Training delivery
will include
INFRAEOSC-07 projects.
eoscfuture.eu @EOSCFuture
Task 9.3 - Developing the EOSC Knowledge Hub
Activity 1 - EOSCTraining Resource Catalogue:
• Specify a catalogue of training resources pertinent to EOSC, its services
and related FAIR and OS concepts.
Activity 2 - EOSC Learning Platform:
• Provide a learning platform, giving EOSC end-users and providers access
to highly interactive and relevant training courses and materials.
• The platform will be interoperable with the EOSCTraining Resources
Catalogue.
• Learning platform with online training courses, certification, a repository
populated with openly available training materials, a trainer's directory.
Activity 3 - EOSC Knowledge Hub Curation:
• Curation of the training resource catalogue and training platform services
• Phases: i) training materials and sources registration, ii) curation and
validation of resources, iii) content collection and curation, iv) production
of new materials.

Task 9.3 - Developing the EOSC
Knowledge Hub
The EOSC Knowledge Hub (KH) seamlessly integrated with the
EOSC Portal:
o training resource catalogue
o learning platform,
both intended to support FAIR sharing and reuse of training
resources in EOSC
From an architecture point of view, the KH will build on
existing technologies, concepts and initiatives
WP9 will specify the KH, will hand over the specification to
WP5 for implementation, and after validation toWP7 for
operation within the EOSC Portal.
