5. WP6 RFC Call
The Eclipse IoT Working Group, IEEE IoT and AGILE IoT co-sponsored an
online survey to better understand how developers are building IoT
solutions.
The survey was open from February 11 until March 25, 2016. A total of
528 individuals participated in the survey. Each partner promoted the
survey to their communities through social media and web sites.
A similar survey was conducted in 2015 by the Eclipse IoT Working
Group. Details are available at

Start with defining the customer segments you envisage for your company or organisation
in the context of AGILE
Define these segments as concretely as possible:
◦ NOT: “IoT companies”
◦ RATHER: “startups in the field of hardware-based health monitoring"
Customer segments are the differentiator: for each customer segment define their
common need, the value promise of you organisation, the proposed solution and so on,
working your way down
Colour-code your responses:
◦ Cells containing factsyou are 100% sure about are GREEN
◦ Cells containing assumptions are BLUE
◦ Cells where you cannot fill in anything are PURPLE and need to be explored
◦ Be critical!
