Making an Impact in 2023
For economic, social, and political advancement for all is
to be achieved, as well as gender justice and equality,
then women must be included as leaders and decision-
makers at all levels. Because women are such effective
catalysts for change, diversity and gender parity in
leadership and decision-making are being more
acknowledged in all sectors of society. In communities,
businesses, and politics, women still represent a very
small percentage of decision-makers.
Organizations with stronger gender diversity on
executive teams are more likely to outperform the
national average because more women hold executive
leadership positions. “World's Visionary Women
Leaders Making an Impact in 2023” is World's Leaders
latest edition that features women leaders from various
sectors which are thriving in leadership and leading with
best practices and creating their personal value and
contribution to the world.
The cover features Alivia K. Barrett who started using
her passion for helping others and incorporated her
teaching abilities with a bit of business flare. She spent a
few years after college working as a mentor in a school
system, but she soon realised that she was ready for a
change. Because of her abilities in business, Alivia began
managing multiple enterprises concurrently for 20 years
after that turn in careers. When the world went virtual in
2020, Alivia felt compelled to get back into teaching and
began developing minicourses online
(ltkradio.com/minicourses) that combined her interests in
business, education and faith in God.
Alivia's distinctive method combines these three worlds
in harmony with an excellent learning opportunity.
Alivia is passionate about interacting with people and
fostering their development. Everything she does shows
it. Since a few years ago, Alivia has been changing lives
by instructing these minicourses. The virtual platform is
an area of influence that is constantly expanding. Since
that shift, Alivia K. Barrett is part of that wave of online
resources and development. She wants to spend time on
a mission that matters to her and matters to others that
take these minicourses.

An Entrepreneur with a Heart for
Helping Others
“The concept of a minicourse was actually a
new thought. From research I had found,
most people were doing long courses and
then would have levels like 101, 201, 301,
401 and masters series. I wasn't finding

amounts of information to digest quickly
and go right into implementing what was

11. In a turning of events, entrepreneur Alivia K. Barrett
started using her passion for helping others and
incorporated her teaching abilities with a bit of business
flare. She spent a few years after college working as a
mentor in a school system, but she soon realized that she
was ready for a change. Because of her abilities in
business, Alivia began managing multiple enterprises
concurrently for 20 years after that turn in careers. When
the world went virtual in 2020, Alivia felt compelled to
get back into teaching and began developing minicourses
online (ltkradio.com/minicourses) that combined her
interests in business, education and faith in God.
Her distinctive method combines these three worlds in
harmony with an excellent learning opportunity. Alivia is
passionate about interacting with people and fostering
their development. Everything she does shows it. Since a
few years ago, Alivia has been changing lives by
instructing these minicourses. The virtual platform is an
area of influence that is constantly expanding. Since that
shift, Alivia K. Barrett is part of that wave of online
resources and development. She wants to spend time on
a mission that matters to her and matters to others that
take these minicourses.
Initial stages
Young Alivia K. Barrett recalls longing for a
purpose—something that would identify her and be
greater than herself. Early on, her parents had a
significant impact on her. Her father was an excellent
public speaker who inspired audiences to think outside
the box. He was a pastor, a community club volunteer,
and a shepherd to those who went to their neighborhood
church. Her mother instilled in her a constant belief in
children's capacity for greater understanding. She crafted
and led musicals for people of all ages and taught in both
Sunday school and baby classes while teaching in a local
elementary during the week. Alivia wanted something
similar to what they both had, which were missions
bigger than themselves.
This journey grew for Alivia when she went with her dad
on a trip to St. Vincent.
Alivia says, "I could see kids and families that were
completely different from me. They were so grateful for
us being there. It made me want to jump in and help."
Alivia helped their school out in the yard. Although she
admitted that being hot or dirty wasn't her favorite thing,
she was nonetheless picking up very important
knowledge. She and others around her were given such
vitality by her presence, hard effort, and lack of
complaint. She yearned for more adventures!
Imagine that it was 1997 and Alivia was about to board a
plane for Kenya, Africa. She had collected enough cash
to cover a three-month internship that summer of
college. She set out to research the relationships between
Americans and Kenyans. She was looking to see if there
Joining Corporate World
Alivia recounts the moment when she was "finding
herself" in an opportunity when a business was being
presented to her. It was a wonderful chance for Alivia
and her expanding family. She was unaware that it
was the first in a string of occupa ons that she
thought were her des ny. It astonished Alivia how
much she felt at home in these unfamiliar
surroundings because being around business was
simply in her nature. She was managing teams,
scheduling, bringing in new clients, and doing all of
that while working from home before that was the
thing to do. She was really passionate and driven.
When 2020 arrived, she had almost 20 years of
experience managing small businesses in various
contexts. For Alivia's job to survive, she recalled
believing that everything had to change. She was not
only terrified but also inspired to succeed despite the
difficult situa on. Alivia had faith that God would
reveal to her a different route that would work— and
He did.
While out on a walk, Alivia heard from a mentor a
brand-new but really profound idea about riches. It
was the idea that building healthy soil both within
you and outside of you is the founda on of kingdom
wealth. Alivia was literally stopped in her tracks by
just that no on and how different business could
look. Although it seemed contradictory, Alivia claims
it was the beginning of a new journey that she
needed and started looking forward to.

12. was an assignment she could
pick up on. The information she
discovered was crucial to her
journey. Enter Alivia's
encounter with the
neighborhood Massai school.
These young people looked
extremely stylish. She
remembers that they were
wearing blue uniforms and had
the biggest, whitest smiles she
had ever seen. They could
hardly wait to meet her and
stroke her pale skin. It was
hilarious to Alivia, she thought.
Like they needed to be certain
that she was real.
Alivia stood up in front of the
class to speak about her family,
the journey from America to
their school, and her
relationship with God. She
could see the adorable ebony
children huddled together and
listening closely.
Alivia returned to the US,
continued in college, and
eventually earned a teaching
degree. She remembers thinking
that was the appropriate move
and the new beginning she was
ready to make. Nevertheless,
after a few years of mentoring
in a school system, she
discovered a new interest and
she was drawn to business and
managing businesses.

14. Sharing Knowledge through Short
Videos
Alivia began consuming information
about this idea and how to develop
her voice. It took some time, self-
investment, and learning from a few
mentors for her to realize that
something was resurfacing. It was
her skills and background in
teaching! Alivia was discovering that
she was prepared to teach using a
new method. So she recorded her
first lecture about listening to God's
voice and the simplicity she's
discovered. That appeared to be quite
effective and worked. Then, she kept
thinking of more and more videos.
She recorded an introduction video
and then moved on to additional
lessons. Alivia could see something
emerging before her own
eyes—minicourses were being born!
Alivia says "The concept of a
minicourse was actually a new
thought. From research I had found,
most people were doing long courses
and then would have levels like 101,
201, 301, 401 and masters series. I
wasn't finding much in courses that
would give small amounts of
information to digest quickly and go
right into implementing what was
learned. But that was exactly what I
wanted to do."
Alivia selected the first four classes
in the curriculum for her 25-minute
teaching videos. Also, they received
bonus lessons that were part of the
minicourse. The student could view
and learn all of this online at their
own convenience. She also scheduled
a weekly live community time during
which the students dug further into
the subject matter. Alivia can recall
14 | December 2023
15. some of those early times when
people were absorbing information
quite quickly. She was receiving
emails and SMS requesting the next
steps. She was fascinated by how
rapidly these students were picking
up the subject. They became
ravenous for more of it. These
students went through a handful of
minicourses together and some of
them wanted a one-on-one with
Alivia too. It ended up being a
fruitful time, right in the middle of
covid restrictions. Alivia says "It felt
like we were defying the odds with
this new way of learning. It made me
very hopeful for minicourses and it's
future."
Minicourses are still in use today.
She recently relaunched an updated
version and is working to enroll
additional students. The first
minicourse that Alivia leads her
students through is titled "Direction
in Detail." She managed to establish
the direction of decisions and inspire
confidence in how to proceed. While
moving out into new experiences,
Alivia feels that hearing God's voice
over other voices of influence
(including our own) leads to genuine
satisfaction and confidence. She also
found that few people were hearing
God's voice and becoming perplexed
over what they believed to be the
right decision. It was logical to
design a learning environment where
students could proceed at their own
pace, particularly when it came to
understanding and validating their
own path.
The name of the second course is
Minicourse LIVE. She ultimately
started capturing other people on the
screen as well. According to Alivia,
teaching in front of them, recording
the sessions, and making the material
available to additional students was
enjoyable. After that, they had a
discussion lesson that was also
recorded. It was helping the students
hear and reinforce directions from
God's perspective, similar to what a
debriefing group would look like.
Alivia recalls that changing the
format of this minicourse was both a
great learning experience and a lot of
fun. The curriculum of Minicourse
LIVE also includes supplementary
material.
More Courses in Future
A new minicourse is coming,
according to Alivia. All of the lessons
learned from previous minicourses
should become active in the student's
life. That would be the end goal of
this next minicourse. To help people
digest and put in action simple ways
to confirm direction and be confident
Infront of others because of what
they've learned. Alivia is looking
forward to this year's new classes and
revised versions of previous ones.
Alivia recalls, "What I've found by
doing the minicourses in this way, is
that others get a chance to seek God
the way I do. Being virtually Infront
of someone increases the opportunity
for that person to experience change
and for more people to become
students of this subject. That alone
feels revolutionary because now I
can teach people at any time, in any
location. They don't have to just wait
for my schedule or travel to my city.
It's available to them when they are
ready to learn."
worldsleaders.com | 15
17. The minicourses are intended to help people
come to their own understanding and confidently
confirm their next decision, no matter how big or
small. Alivia wants people to access the source
of knowledge, solutions, and life guidance. She
is convinced that God offers all of this to those
who ask to hear Him clearly. That, according to
Alivia, is one of the best missions to be a part of.
There can be more self-assured individuals in
families, in positions of leadership, in
employment, in churches, and in our own life if
we give others the freedom to hear the word of
God on their own. We would witness folks who
were not persuaded by events or frightening
news but rather heard a voice directly guiding
them.
Throughout the world, minicourses have had an
impact on individuals. In addition to Texas,
Michigan, Florida and Kentucky some of Alivia's
students came from Germany and Canada. There
are countless opportunities provided by the
accessibility of learning online, going at their
own pace, and connecting with other students in
Facebook groups. Using online learning settings,
things that were once exceedingly difficult are
now quite possible.
These minicourses are a blessing in Alivia's eyes.
These options for smaller versions of course
material enable students to learn quickly and
easily. She is thrilled that minicourses are related
to her life's work and that they have the ability to
grow and expand globally.
You can register for minicourses on Alivia's

Defines her Characteristics
Parmi is passionate and driven, and
she goes above and beyond to
accomplish her goals despite being a
busy CEO in the fast-paced business
world, working as a non-executive
director on outside boards, and
participating in numerous local and
international forums and committees.
She prides herself on being well-
organized because she has such a
hectic life and is constantly being
pushed in a variety of directions. She
made swift connections to figure out
the best course of action. She is
Meticulous—For her, quality and
attention to detail are non-negotiable.
This also means that she holds others
to high standards, which motivates
them to succeed. She is humble and
doesn't consider any task beneath her,
so to speak.
Walks the Day
Parmi Natesan is not only an active
housekeeper and mother. In order to
give each area of her life attention,
she tries to achieve balance in her
life. She devotes a lot of time to
raising her two teenage children

different. She places importance on
recognizing even modest everyday
victories. She personally begins each
day with a 30-minute workout to get
moving, and she practices
intermittent fasting. She feels that for
any professional in a leadership
position, maintaining good physical
and mental health is crucial.
Advancement of Leadership as a
Woman
Parmi thinks it's critically important
that people regularly evaluate their
leadership abilities and styles,
especially as the world changes and
the workforce's generational shifts
necessitate very different leadership
talents than in the past. This calls for
having their fingers on the pulse at all
times and being quick to react.
Everyone is all continually
developing new technical skills.
Parmi believes that because of how
quickly the world changes,
professionals could easily become
stagnant. There is thus a need for
constant awareness of the most
recent trends and advancements. She
proposes reading, following specific
social media pages or channels,
interacting with like-minded
professionals, and other activities as
ways to do this. Learning on demand,
whenever and wherever it suits them.
People are becoming less and less
inclined to want to spend an entire
day in a classroom. They want to be
able to schedule their growth around
their needs. Parmi considers that
learning a specific skill when needed
is preferable to taking a protracted
course that covers auxiliary material.
Diverse teams make better
decisions
Even if there has been considerable
progress in recent years, there are
still far too few women in positions
of leadership. Parmi says, "Not
because she thought women were
better leaders than men, but simply
because women were different
leaders to men.”
It is in this uniqueness and diversity
that the magic occurs. She thinks
that's why we need a mix of men and
women in positions of power.
Complex challenges are best solved
by diverse teams. She claimed that
members of varied groups tend to be
more diligent around people they see
as being "different," challenge one
another more readily, and study more
facets of a problem, avoiding group
thinking.

39. As we begin the third
decade of the twenty-first
century, education is
more important than ever
for comprehending the
modern world. Whether it
is teaching students or
instructors, analyzing the
role of education in
leading and driving
change via policy,
practice, and ongoing
innovation for a more
inclusive education is
essential in the creation
of new and improved
educational systems
across the world.
Patti France has worked in the field of post-secondary
education for more than 35 years. She has had direct
responsibility for several important College departments
over the past ten years, including the Registrar's Office,
Human Resources, Student Services, Information
Technology, Health and Safety and Facilities Management.
She has also handled formal College interactions with both
unions as well as the majority of College interactions with
the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills
Development. Patti France, the College's President, serves
as head of many committees, including the Senior
Operations Group, which is made up of members of the
senior management team.
Patti France participates on numerous committees and sub-
committees. She is the Board Chair of the Ontario College
Application Services (OCAS), the Board Vice-Chair for
Windsor Regional Hospital and is also the Chair of their
Quality of Care Sub-Committee. Patti is a Board member
of the Windsor Family Credit Union and also sits on their
Audit Committee. Patti also currently serves as a member
of the Ontario Colleges Committee of Presidents.
Journey to Becoming an Educational Chief
President France was raised in Essex County's northern
region, close to Windsor, Ontario. When she graduated
from high school in the 1990s, she decided to enroll in the
diploma program in Computer Programming because she
was interested in the still-relatively-new but fascinating
field.
In fact, Patti was a bit of an anomaly when she was chosen
to lead St. Clair in 2015. President France was one of a
select group of Canadian college presidents whose first
tertiary education had actually occurred inside the college
system as opposed to having gone to a university.
Additionally, over the course of more than twenty years,
she had spent her entire professional life at the same
organization: from being a student at St. Clair to a
Computer Lab Technician and lecturer, to managerial
positions in the school's I.T. Department, to Vice-
Presidential appointments overseeing nearly every division
of the College, and finally to St. Clair's Presidency. The fact
that students and potential students could see how their own
President used her College credentials to advance inside the
school was a fantastic marketing and recruitment picture.
President France had earned degrees in adult education
while still pursuing her work (a B.A. from Brock University
in Ontario and an M.A. from St. Francis Xavier University
in Nova Scotia). That was another important message to
students, demonstrating that "I practiced what I preached"
when she spoke about the importance of life-long learning.
Stepping into the Education Sector
President France wasn't overly ambitious when she first
began at the College and certainly would have never
thought she would one day be President.

Philopateer Christian College
Philopateer Christian College (PCC)
was launched in September 1999 with
40 students ranging from JK to Grade
8. Today, we have approximately 360
students from Pre-K to grade 12.
PCC created the first Pre-JK (Pre-
Kindergarten) program in 2002,
allowing children as young as three to
participate in the entire school
experience. Since 2005, PCC has
welcomed foreign students from
Korea, China, Brazil, and the Middle
East.
PCC opened its high school doors in
2007 with only three pupils enrolled in
grade 9. The Good Samaritan program
was established in 2008 for kids with
learning disabilities and special needs.
In 2020, it became innovative during
the pandemic and began its
hybrid/virtual high school recruiting,
recruiting students from all over the
world to join its school from the
comfort of their own country. Phoebe
states, "Our qualified, caring teachers
and staff work hand in hand with
families to support the healthy growth
of all our students. We care for our
students' spirituality and academics,
and mentor them to serve their
families, their communities, and their
respective countries. Cherishing family
relationships, friends and respect
towards adults and each other, are part
of our school values.”
The team at Philopateer Christian
College develops its students to be
well-rounded leaders of tomorrow. The
team does this by assisting students in
believing in and developing their God-
given skills in the appropriate
atmosphere, under the supervision of
highly competent teachers.
Philopateer Christian College has held
the top place as Diamond Winner in
the city of Mississauga Readers'
Choice Awards for Best Private School
in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

49. Background Story
Ms. Bleier began her career in the
medical field in 1981, first in health
information management, and then as
a pharmacy technician at a local
hospital. She started working as a
nursing assistant at a skilled nursing
facility (SNF) in St. Petersburg, FL,
while pursuing education to become
a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN);
later transitioning to work as an LPN.
During that time, she went back to
school and completed her associate
degree in nursing (ASN), becoming a
registered nurse (RN). After
receiving her degree and passing her
licensing exams, Robin worked as an
RN at the hospital where she had
previously worked as a pharmacy
technician. After leaving the hospital,
she was hired by her prior Director of
Nursing (DON), from the SNF she
first worked at, to become a
consultant with a small national
consulting firm based in Tallahassee,
Florida. Ms. Bleier worked there for
four years before leaving as their
Director of Clinical Services. She
then went to work at a continuing
care retirement community (CCRC)
as their Director of Clinical Services.
In the CCRC role, Ms. Bleier
oversaw all rehabilitative services in
addition to the SNF, two assisted
living facilities (ALFs) and care
given in the attached independent
living center. Following the CCRC,
she joined a small multi-state
management company, initially as
the Regional Nurse, with promotions
through Chief Operating Officer over
a seven-year period. She later left the
management company. Thus began
the birth of RB Health Partners, Inc.
in 2002.
Long-Term-Care is complex to say the least. Due to its
complexity, there are challenges. One strategy to navigate
these challenges is to try to find win-win solutions as often as
we can. We find, to succeed in professional situations, a win-
win approach is essential. When we engage in business with
someone, our agreements should be structured so that both
parties, i.e., you and the other party, will benefit. The President
of RB Health Partners, Inc., Robin A. Bleier, is a proponent of
this approach. She has discovered how to be more receptive to
the needs of those who might be presenting barriers in order
to close gaps and offer effective solutions.

S
arah Barnes-Humphrey devoted 20 years
of her life to her family's business,
helping to grow the business and
infusing it with vitality. Throughout her journey,
she took risks, experienced both success and
failure, and gained invaluable knowledge and
experience. However, when the family business
eventually dissolved, Sarah was left with
nothing, and her lifelong plan was abruptly
halted.
Nevertheless, Sarah refused to give up, and
instead, she charted a new course for herself.
Despite facing bankruptcy, fear, and loneliness,
she persevered because quitting was simply
not an option. Her unwavering determination
paid off, and she achieved success once again.
Driven by her passion for supply chain and her
belief in the power of collaboration, Sarah
launched "Let's Talk Supply Chain (LTSC),"
which has become the most popular supply
chain podcast in the market. Through this
venture, the Blended Podcast and her non-
profit The Blended Pledge, Sarah has finally
found her true calling and is making a
meaningful impact in the industry.
Below are highlights of the interview
conducted between World's Leaders and Sarah
Barnes-Humphrey:
Describe who you are as a person, inside
and outside of the workplace.
I am a warrior, a survivor, and a work in
progress. Outside of the company and inside
from an early age, I had to learn how to
resilient, and that has led me to always be able
to pivot my business mindset.
When I'm not working, I'm an avid sports
player (and fan! ), dog-lover, and family
person. You can catch me at the baseball fields
or spending time with my husband, Alan,
eating good local food.
Describe your background and what did
you do before you started/joined the
company?
It's a joke of mine, but I grew up talking about
supply chain at the dinner table, not boys and
trends like your average teenager. After
graduating from high school, I went straight
into the family business in logistics. Working
reception and taking night courses, I worked
my way up through operations and sales to
my position as Director of Sales and
Marketing. Through my education and hands-
on experience, I was able to create Let's Talk
Supply Chain in 2018.
worldsleaders.com | 51
52. Tell us about the inception of the company.
How did it all start?
While I was Director of Sales and Marketing, I decided
we needed to do something for our brand to stick out. I
was listening to a lot of podcasts at the time, and I
thought, "Hell, if Lewis Howes can do that, why can't
Sarah Barnes-Humphrey?" That's when I asked a peer
from the customs department to join me as a co-host.
Let's just say that marketing in the supply chain wasn't
very good at that time. so, tongue-in-cheek, we called the
podcast 2 Babes Talk Supply Chain. That was in 2016,
and by November 2017 the company shut down, and I
was out on my own with guests paying to come on the
show.
That's when I got serious, learned graphic design, social
media, and website design. In January 2018, I started the
Women in Supply Chain Series, and by April 2018, no
women would come on a show called 2 Babes Talk
Supply Chain, so I rebranded to Let's Talk Supply Chain
within a week, and the rest is history.
What has made you successful? What do you value?
I think what has made us successful is that we
consistently show up! We value the voices in our
industry; if they take time out of their day to comment or
send a message, we engage right back. We are
intentional in how we provide and create content for all
members of the supply chain community. Here at Let's
Talk Supply Chain, we're innovative, always coming up
with ideas, and not afraid to fail.
Which are the major services of the company and
how do the company to get ahead in the competition?
What value-added services does the company
provide?
We focus on digital content that will make a difference
and make the daily lives of supply chain professionals
easier. From podcasts to live shows, we elevate voices in
the community.
What are the most important aspects of a company's
culture? What principles do you believe in and how
do you build this culture?
We are a team of freelancers from all over the world.
One principle I firmly believe in is not being a
micromanager. So, we encourage a culture of owning
your space and creating safe spaces. That way, everyone
feels comfortable reaching out with a challenge, an idea,
or an innovation. It fosters a culture of collaboration,
which is really important when we are all in different
locations.
What is the significance of innovative ideas in the
company?
Super important! We really encourage that in everything
we do and in every team meeting we have.
Give us your opinion on; do organizations rely
heavily on individual heroics or team processes?
Organizations rely heavily on team processes. It is the
only way we can keep things running smoothly.
What are your responsibilities as the Founder/CEO
of the company? What is the happiest part of your
daily routine?
My daily role as the founder includes the vision and
execution of new ideas, being the face of the brand, and
hosting a lot of our content. It's a lot of responsibility!
My team is incredible, and they are the reason I can do it
all. The best part of my daily routine is the connection! I
truly enjoy speaking with people about their passions
and also hearing from the community when they reach
out for feedback, and I know we have made a difference
for one person.
What advice would you give someone going into a
leadership position for the first time?
We are all works in progress, so take time to listen; learn,
and give grace to yourself and your team.

Creating Value for others

56. Below are highlights of the interview conducted
between World's Leaders and Victoria Pelletier:
Describe your background and what did you
do before you started/joined the company?
As someone who does not subscribe to the status
quo, I am always ready for new challenges; I left
a financial services career to become one of the
youngest Chief Operating Officers at the age of
24, a president by 35, and a CEO by age 41. I've
spent the last 20 years or so focusing on leading
B2B professional services organizations.
Tell us about the inception of the company.
How did it all start?
I have been a corporate executive for
decades and have also built and bought
businesses over the years. I started
speaking 20+ years ago, primarily
focused on industry or functional
subject matter, and shifted to more
personal and motivational topics. I
co-authored a book called
Unstoppable, which is my personal
philosophy or life motto and the
title of my signature keynote. As
my professional speaking
appearances grew more frequent
with increasing demand, I created
a company to encompass all
aspects of this work, called
Unstoppable You.
What has made you successful?
What do you value?
I attribute my career success to my
strong work ethic, focus on
delivering exceptional
performance, voracious learning,
and continual challenge. I also
attribute it to a maniacal focus on
developing high-performing,
diverse, and inclusive human-
centered leadership teams and a highly
engaged workforce. I would also say
that my focus on building a strong
personal brand and highly connected network
and learning to create healthy boundaries in my
life have allowed me to achieve many of my
personal and professional goals. I value
companies and leaders with a strong purpose and

57. mission aligned to my personal
values and a high degree of integrity
and ethics.
Which are the major services of the
company and how do the company
to get ahead in the competition?
What value-added services does the
company provide?
My company provides primarily
public and media appearances;
keynote speeches, conference
emcees, panel moderators, podcasts,
and media guest appearances. Other
services include executive coaching,
personal brand coaching.
What are the most important
aspects of a company's culture?
What principles do you believe in
and how do you build this culture?
My experience and focus on
company culture have been in my
large-scale corporate roles, where I
have been fortunate to lead very large
teams. I believe that culture is the
outcome of the organization's and
leadership's purpose/mission, the
policies and procedures, and the
human-centered, authentic, and
empathetic leadership that leads from
the front.
What is the significance of
innovative ideas in the company?
I have been focused on innovating in
every company that I've worked for
or led. It's the cornerstone to long
term business growth and prosperity.
I ADORE upsetting the status quo
and driving business and cultural
change.
Give us your opinion on; do
organizations rely heavily on
individual heroics or team
processes?
I think that most companies have a
mix of both, but the focus should be
on team success and holistic
organizational performance across a
multi-faceted set of performance guidelines (financial, of
course, but other metrics like customer and employee
satisfaction, diversity and inclusion, and other ESG
metrics, etc.).
What are your responsibilities at your company? What
is the happiest part of your daily routine?
I have been a corporate executive for large global firms for
my entire career, where I led large operations or divisions
in a general management capacity. I have also built,
bought, and/or invested in businesses and focused on the
strategy and growth of startups or small businesses. At
Unstoppable, I am focused on providing highly engaging
keynote speeches to audiences around the
world on a variety of topics, including
resilience, diversity, equity, and
inclusion, leadership, and culture,
among others. I enjoy variety in my
day; I am not a status quo individual
and love facing new challenges
every day!
What advice would you give
someone going into a leadership
position for the first time?
There are many pieces of advice I
would give to a new leader: learn from
your team, trust and delegate, be clear
with success outcomes and
performance, be incredibly
human and
empathetic, and build
trusted, authentic
relationships, to
name a few.
