This document summarizes a workshop for civil servants of Bhutan on public participation and policy making. The workshop covered generations of public policy making and public participation, with the most recent generation involving greater participation from civil society through the use of tools like subsidies and taxes. Participants were split into groups to discuss and create images representing policies for public participation in their topic area. The groups then presented their policies and received feedback, after which they updated their policies and guidelines for interactive public participation approaches and presented them again.
