Virtual mobility tools can support physical student mobility by helping reduce homesickness. The workshop aimed to demonstrate how new technologies like virtual classrooms and online collaboration tools can support student exchanges. It included an introduction to virtual mobility and multi-campus programs, a presentation on relevant new technologies, and hands-on sessions with different virtual mobility tools in breakout groups. The workshop concluded with a discussion of how virtual mobility tools and projects have supported physical student exchanges.
