Welcome to Creative Mélange’s Editorial Board and
thank you for your keen interest. We, the board, hope to
find talented writers, artists, designers, and photographers
in Asia. All current high school and college students are
invited to apply for any of the positions listed below. As we
have stressed before on our Creative Mélange Facebook
page, we are looking for members who are willing to devote
their passion and talent to the magazine.
The Application Process
The application comprises of various parts – General Information, All About You, Down
to Business, and Short Essay. The application begins on page 2 of this document.
Applicants do not need to fill out all of the parts. There are separate parts to fill out for
each position. Pleas follow the given directions carefully. When you finish the
application, save it as one of the accepted file formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .txt, .rtf.
For those applying as editors, you will be given an option for an interview via Skype.
The interview will be a casual 10-minute talk. There is no specific dress code.
Please submit your application by July 25th, 11:59pm UTC via email to
creativemelange.admission@gmail.com. Creative Mélange will not accept
applications sent past the deadline under any conditions. Upon receiving your
application, we will send out a confirmation email. For those who opted for an
interview, you will be given a link to a Doodle form to fill out available time slots. Make
sure you complete the Doodle form no later than July 30th.
About Creative Mélange
Created in 2014, Creative Mélange is an international magazine comprising of aspiring
student writers. The magazine is made for, and made by, young adults with great
passion and devotion. Inspired by the amazing potential and the exceptional creativity
in high school and college students, Creative Mélange aims to connect students around
Asia who share the same passion for literature and arts as ours. Creative Mélange will
publish on a quarterly basis – once every 3 months. The printed edition will be
distributed to schools in different countries for an affordable price. Creative Mélange
will use the monetary fund in developing the magazine for students to pursue their
passion. We anticipate hearing the most insightful ideas from you.
