The accident
A father drove with his son to the soccer game. In the middle on a railroad overpass
their car stalled. In the distance, they could hear the whistle of the train. In despair,
the father tried to start the engine again but nervously he could not turn the ignition
key correctly so that the car was seized by the near-racing train. An ambulance
searched for the location and rescued the two. On the way to the hospital the father
died. The son lived, but his condition was very serious; he needed to be operated on
immediately. Just after arriving to the hospital, he was driven into the emergency
operating room, where already the on-duty surgeons were waiting. However, when
they bent over the boy, one of the surgeons said with a frightened voice:
"I cannot operate - that is my son."
How is that possible?
