A theme of interest is simply any theme or area of concern that someone thinks is problematic and worthy of attention.   Themes of interest might relate to issues of human trafficking, environmental degradation, violence against women, refugees, or any other development challenges.   When we are able to cogently frame specific sets of issues, we have an initial basis for developing a proposal to take purposeful action to respond to these development challenges.  1)	Identify a theme of interest and join a proposal-writing group
