Normal Family Experiences A foster parent’s goal
Caring for CHOICES kids is a team effort, and we couldn’t be more proud of how everyone works
together; our workers, county workers, therapists and most of all our foster parents.
Linda Phiffer’s love for children came much before foster parenting as she has operated an in home
daycare for over 20 years for children up to age 15. She became interested in foster parenting
because her sister, Freda, began to foster. (This is why we say our foster parents are our best
referral source!) Linda began to interact with the children and got to know them, they really became
