The pass discovered by Lord Curzon and is famous for its sweeping sights and the delights that come along the way.
Ranging from an easy to moderate level of difficulty, you will cover a total distance of 25kms within 6 days. The highest altitude encountered is 13,990ft. Enjoy the trail through confluence of streams, pictorial oak and deodar woodlands, lush meadows and rhododendrons. Do not be surprised if you spot mysterious footprints of the Himalayan Bear or Leopard.
3. Day 1: Arrive at Haridwar and Drive to Joshimath
(265km/6 Hours Drive)
Arrive at Haridwar and drive up to Joshimath through the
confluence points of rivers namely, Devprayag, Srinagar,
Rudraprayag, Karnprayag covering a total of around
265km.
Relish scrumptious breakfast and lunch on the way to
Joshimath and upon arrival at the destination,check-in
into the rest house for an overnight stay.

5. Day 2: Drive from Joshimath - Dhak (12km),
6 Km Trek from Dhak - Chitrakhana
After a filling morning meal, drive off 12km to Dhak
Village after which you can embark on a 6km trek down
to Chitrakhana and mark the beginning of your Winter
Kuari Pass Trek.
This route will take you through dry rugged terrain
towards Tugasi Village where you can pack lunch. After
arriving Chitrakhana, dinner and overnight stay will be
arranged in the campsite.

7. Day 3: Trek from Chitrakhana - Tali Top (4 Hours Trek)
The next day entails a trek of 6km through rich natural
foliage and Rhododendrons with the Mt. Nanda Devi
posing as a majestic backdrop. With the passage taking
you through alpine thickets to reach Tali top, this trek is
invigorating to state the least.
Spend your night camping in tents.

9. Day 4: Trek from Tali Top – Khullar - Kuari Pass - Tali
(15kmTrek)
On the fourth day of the Winter Kuari Pass Trek, start
with a one hour gradual trek to Khullar. Hereafter, start
trekking through the high snow clad areas to reach the
Kauri Pass.
On arrival at the pass, you can feel the chilling touches of
the snow-wind and witness some of the best panoramic
views.
After spending some of the pleasant moments at the
pass, start trekking back to the base camp; dinner and
overnight stay at the camp.

11. Day 5: Trek from Tali – Joshimath (8km)
Start the day with a proper meal and then set off for a
trekking journey through the meadows or ‘bugyals’ of
Gurson. During this hike, enjoy the panorama of the trail
that heads to the Nanda Devi along with Rishi Ganga.
Descend down to Auli and arrive at a car that will take
you to Joshimath; overnight stay in Joshimath.

13. Day 6: Drive from Joshimath to Haridwar
Rising up early morning, savour on a delicious
breakfast. Post this; you will be driven back to
Haridwar.
