William Henry Harrison was the 9th US President from 1841 and was a member of the Whig party. He advocated for open examination and discussion of governmental acts. His 1840 campaign slogan was "Log Cabin and Hard Cider" and referenced his humble origins. Tragically, he died only a month after his inauguration from pneumonia.
