Electronic resources and librarians services must reach out to a broad spectrum of populations in academic settings. In an effort to promote use of library resources and services, the librarians for Excelsior College have produced a way of increasing usage of both the services and resources through course integration. This model of systematically integrating library services and resources into online courses will be addressed in this presentation. The presentation will demonstrate how to collaborate with course developers and instructional designers at the point where the course is being designed. Examples of how librarians can initiate partnerships within the academic institution; manage the workflow of requested projects; manage expectations; and ultimately market services will be discussed.

В прошлом году NetCat и CMS Magazine провели совместное исследование – «Практика разработки мобильных сайтов», в этом году мы решили продолжить данную работу и подготовили следующее исследование, с помощью которого попытались отследить динамику «мобильного» сектора рынка веб-разработки.
Данный доклад 19 октября 2013 года был представлен на RIW, а сегодня мы рады познакомить с ним и широкую общественность.
Вывод к исследованию можно сделать следующий: пользователи уже прошли некоторую революцию – они уже в «мобильном» будущем, потребность у клиента тоже уже имеется т.к. он понимает где его деньги, а вот разработка отстает, она объективно не успевает за потребностью рынка, необходимо в ближайшее время наращивать мощности, спрос будет.

In these sessions we explore a range of ways to support students in sharing their experiences, reflections and discussions outside of class in a more open manner – through digital communication platforms and tools. As part of this series, you will redesign one course activity or assessment strategy for implementation in a course in Fall 2016.
Throughout the three part series we will engage in a simulation using a shared and collaborative WordPress blog thereby modeling approaches to implementing open reflective writing. Various models of using WordPress in education will be explored including individual student reflective writing sites, collaborative community course sites, and aggregated sites.
By the end of these sessions participants will:
-experience taking part in a collaborative reflective writing community
-plan a learning activity which makes use of this technique
-share their experiences implementing within their discipline
