papers
Evidence of skill is greater in peer reviewed papers than
certificates. Why?
Training centres are paid for issuing certificates for skill
validation.
Peer Reviewers are not paid. They do it on self interest.
So “bias by money” is less in peer reviewed skill validation.

Step 1 : Figure out the sequence of publications to put from
top to bottom
1. ORIGINAL RESEARCH PAPER ( BASED ON FINAL YEAR PROJECT)
2. REVIEW PAPER (BASED ON YOUR SEMINAR TOPIC ) WHERE YOU ARE FIRST AUTHOR
3. REVIEW PAPER WHERE YOU ARE SECOND AUTHOR
4. REVIEW PAPER WHERE YOU ARE THIRD AUTHOR
5. REVIEW PAPER WHERE YOU ARE FOURTH AUTHOR
Since most of you have five research papers in your Undergrad , this is the best sequence
If you have Patents, Patents must be put first and then papers as they have highest value for hirers.

Step 2 : Figure out which papers to eliminate based on
where you are applying (Not applicable to Freshers)
• Remove the papers which are not applicable to the job you
are applying to.
• Sometimes, this creates confusion to the hirer if you have
papers in multiple domains.
• However, this is not applicable to you. Since you are a
fresher, hirer will be seeing how much interest you show in
your work rather than focus.
