A significant section of India’s
population is involved directly or
indirectly in the informal sector.
Children of these families are either
forced to drop out of the school or
voluntarily leave education at the age
of ten or twelve.
Their earnings vary invariably
as much as their education.
Specialists with some training are
by and large found in the more
appealing and better-paying job
categories.
