Who’s watching what and why
1.
2. WE ARE THE SPECTATORS….
As the audience we are exposed to multiple forms of media
everywhere we go.
9/10 people in the UK own a television , so its hardly a
surprise that its everywhere we go because we ourselves
support it.
But nowadays people use the internet as there main
platform to watch television shows and films.
Technology has broadened around the world so that we can
consume the media through smart phones , tablets and
even moving advertisements.
3. WHY HAS IT CHANGED?
The cinema is one of the best ways to experience a film. However
now that technology has become more broadened so has the
cinema to keep up.
But as the audience we have noticed the change in the cinemas as
it is starting to cost a lot more for a few tickets and some
snacks.
This is because the film industry need to make their money
somehow otherwise there would be no films. And as the
audience we demand for films and entertainment.
But the price change has made it easier for the audience to turn to
the internet to watch online films and television shows.
4. AGE?
But does it differ with age?
Many people of the elder generation 30+ still enjoy going to
the cinema because back when they were in their teens
they didn’t use the internet as frequently as it is used
today.
Whereas the ages of 15+ nowadays it is regular and ‘normal’
for the youth to be online and watching television
programmes and films online.
5. CONCLUSION
Overall because of the technology these days its
unavoidable to see any form of media during a regular
day as its everywhere. However this is not a bad thing
because it can also teach us and educate use a lot
quicker than word of mouth.
But it has its flaws, like lowering the average amount of
social interactions with people and not giving the full
credit to the film makers and producers.
