This document discusses guidelines for determining when to stop irrigation in corn fields. It describes two trial plots, one where irrigation continued until harvest and one where irrigation stopped at 96 days from drilling. Samples were collected every two days from 82 days after grains started to dimple. The moisture and thousand grain weights were recorded. The document recommends stopping irrigation at day 96/98 if temperatures are below 30°C, day 100 if below 34°C, and day 102 if above 34°C, as the soil moisture will last 7-4 days respectively.
