What's Your
Message
Whether you want to call it your marketing
message, your LinkedIn summary, your
brochure wording or your home page blurb on
your website – it all boils down to one thing.
 What is your core business message that you
want to share?
Can you answer this question?
  
Do you have real clarity on what you do for the
world, the message that you want to bring to the
world?
Because having a meaningful business that
attracts a fabulous income must stand for
something.  
And you need to know what you stand for, and
how to articulate it.
The world is changing at a pace and scale like never
before.
We don’t know what our world will be like in 20 years,
there is no way we can predict what will be invented
by whom or for whom.
We don’t know what will be completely destroyed, or
the effect that one small shift might have on the
planet.
An example of this is in the YouTube video How
Wolves Change Rivers (I will put a link at the end of
this blog for you)
But we all have a chance to make the world better, to
stand for something greater, to help the planet and
the people on it.
But we cannot do this if we don’t know how to
share our message.
I want you to imagine that you have 30 seconds to
get your message across to a room full of potential
clients, businesses, or possible joint venture partners.
You don’t have long, so you are going to have to
say something that hits a nerve with the room.
So ask yourself this question, what could you speak
about for hours that comes naturally for you?
 What makes you angry, or what makes your heart
sing?
If you were to stand up on your soap box what
would you be saying…
what is the difference you want to make in the
world…
Fill in the blanks:
The best way to ____________ is to _____________
But then take it down a level to really get to the core of
your message.
The best way to ____________ is to _____________
For example:
The best way to have a successful business is to
align it with your purpose in life and something you
are passionate about.
Then to take it down a level:
The best way to find your purpose and passion is to
awaken your magic.
The best way to awaken your magic is to look deep
inside you and create a meaningful business that you
love!
When you love what you do you are happy to give
more, share more and be more!
My core business message is awaken your magic to
create a meaningful business and have a fabulous
income.
So what are your two levels (or more) that you stand
for?
If you are unable to articulate what you stand for,
you will not be able to build a tribe and attract
followers.  
It will be difficult for people to help share your
message if you can’t tell them what the message is.
It is important to remember that this is not your
full ‘Pitch’ but this is the backbone of your
business.  
Your core business message is very different from
your ‘title’.
You can see I did not once mention I was a
marketing coach.
I would love to know the message that you
bring to the world.
Whether you are already a highly successful
entrepreneur or are just thinking about building a
business you need to be clear: Standing for
something does not need to be a trade off. It is a
way to create solutions, attract top end clients and
talent and grow your income that is healthy for our
economy, environment and our standard of living.
Just imagine what the world would be like if we all
created our dream lifestyle business that had a
meaningful impact…
