This work had at one stage been published as a web accessible database but was now only accessible via mediated access (you had to know about the work) and you had to know how to get in touch with Dymphna.

This dataset will be made available through the South Australian Open Data Directory. Metadata concerning this dataset will be stored in the Flinders University Metadata store which will feed into the Research Data Australia website.

This system will allowing us to put these places on a timeline, add them to a map and provide additional information to create a rich narrative.

Picture this, if every photograph collected by the State Library of South Australia had a placename and a geocode, you would be able to browse photographs by location and improve the chances of being able to identify unknown people photographs.
