Today, there are many people, websites, and apps claiming to have a message from the angels. Should we pay any attention to these sources? In order to find out, let's see what the Bible says. We will see what the angels say.

1. A.) Don’t listen to those who tell you to observe angels:
- (Col 2:18) Letno man beguile youof yourrewardina voluntaryhumilityandworshippingof
angels,intrudingintothose thingswhichhe hathnotseen,vainlypuffedupbyhisfleshly
mind,
- (Col 2:19) Andnot holdingthe Head,fromwhichall the bodybyjointsandbandshaving
nourishmentministered,andknittogether,increasethwiththe increase of God.
B.) The angels of the LORD don’t want you to worship them. They want you to worship God.
- (Rev22:8) AndI Johnsaw these things,andheardthem.AndwhenIhadheard andseen,I
fell downto worshipbefore the feetofthe angel which shewedme these things.
- (Rev22:9) Thensaith he unto me,See thou do it not: forI am thy fellowservant,andof thy
brethrenthe prophets,andof themwhichkeepthe sayingsof thisbook: worshipGod.
 The angel tells John not to worship him. why? because the angel says he is a fellowservant,
in other words his equal. he tells him to worship God.
 The same thing happens when the angel of the LORD appears to Manoah.
- (Judg13:8) ThenManoah intreatedthe LORD,and said,Omy Lord, letthe man of God
whichthoudidstsendcome againunto us,and teachus what we shall dountothe childthat
shall be born.
- (Judg13:9) AndGod hearkenedtothe voice of Manoah;and the angel of God came again
untothe womanas she sat inthe field:butManoah herhusband wasnot withher.
- (Judg13:10) Andthe woman made haste,andran, and shewedherhusband,andsaidunto
him,Behold,the manhathappeareduntome,that came unto me the otherday.
- (Judg13:11) AndManoah arose,andwentafterhiswife,andcame to the man, and said
untohim,[Art] thouthe manthat spakestuntothe woman?Andhe said,I am.
- (Judg13:12) AndManoah said,Now letthywordscome to pass.How shall we orderthe
child,andhow shall we do untohim?
- (Judg13:13) Andthe angel of the LORD saidunto Manoah, Of all that I saidunto the woman
letherbeware.
- (Judg13:14) She may not eatof anythingthat comethof the vine,neitherletherdrinkwine
or strong drink,noreat anyuncleanthing:all thatI commandedherletherobserve.
- (Judg13:15) And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee,letus detainthee,
until we shall have made ready a kidfor thee.
- (Judg13:16) And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detainme, I will
not eat of thy bread: and ifthou wilt offera burnt offering,thoumust offerit unto the
LORD. For Manoah knewnotthat he was an angel of the LORD.
- (Judg13:17) And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, Whatis thy name,that when
thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
- (Judg13:18) And the angel of the LORD said unto him,Why askestthou thus after my
name, seeingitis secret?
- (Judg13:19) So Manoah tooka kidwitha meatoffering,andofferedituponarock untothe
LORD: and the angel didwondrously;andManoahand hiswife lookedon.
- (Judg13:20) For it came to pass,whenthe flame wentuptowardheavenfromoff the altar,
that the angel of the LORD ascendedinthe flame of the altar.AndManoah and hiswife
lookedonit,and fell ontheirfaces tothe ground.
- (Judg13:21) But the angel of the LORD didno more appearto Manoah and to hiswife.Then
Manoah knewthathe wasan angel of the LORD.

2. C.) The duty of an angel of the LORD is to serve God. They obey God. In the book of
Revelation, they serve as scribes.
- (Rev2:1) Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write;These thingssaithhe that holdeth
the sevenstarsinhis righthand,whowalkethinthe midstof the sevengoldencandlesticks;
- (Rev2:8) And untothe angel of the church inSmyrna write; These thingssaiththe firstand
the last,whichwas dead,andis alive;
- (Rev2:12) Andto the angel of the churchin Pergamos write;These thingssaithhe which
hath the sharp swordwithtwoedges;
- (Rev2:18) Andunto the angel of the church in Thyatira write;These thingssaiththe Sonof
God, whohath hiseyeslike untoaflame of fire,andhisfeetare like fine brass;
- (Rev3:1) Andunto the angel of the church in Sardis write;These thingssaithhe that hath
the sevenSpiritsof God,andthe sevenstars;I know thyworks,that thouhast a name that
thoulivest,andart dead.
- (Rev3:7) Andto the angel of the church inPhiladelphia write;These thingssaithhe thatis
holy,he that istrue,he that hath the keyof David,he that openeth,andnomanshutteth;
and shutteth,andnoman openeth;
- (Rev3:14) Andunto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;These thingssaiththe
Amen, the faithful andtrue witness,the beginningof the creationof God;
 The angelsaren’tgivingthe churchesa message theythoughtof themselves,theyare writingdown
whatGod tellsthemto. In each of these verses,Godislike anannouncer.Whatan awesome
introductionhe giveshimself.We willlookatthe descriptionsandsearchthe scripturestosee if
theymatch God.
D.) Who isspeaking?
- (Rev2:1) Unto the angel of the church of Ephesuswrite;These things saithhe thatholdeth

"Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in
his right hand who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks."

“Andin the midstof the sevencandlesticksone like untothe Son of man, clotheswitha garmentdown
to the foot,and girtabout the paps witha goldengirdle.”

The one whohas the sevenstarsinhisright handiscalledthe Son of man,notice whothe Sonof manis.
Mathew8:19 & 20
“Anda certainscribe saiduntohim,Master,I will follow theewithersoeverthougoest.”
“AndJesussaiduntohim,The foxeshave holes,andthe birdsof the air have nests;butthe Sonof man
hath notwhere to layhishead.”
Luke 9:57 & 58
“Andit came to pass,that,as the wentinthe way,a certainman saidunto him, Lord,I will follow thee
whithersoeverthougoest.”
“AndJesussaiduntohim,Foxeshave holes,andbirdsof the air have nests;but the Son of man hath not
where tolay hishead.”
Jesus’sresponse toaman whosayshe will follow himanywhere isawarning.He tellsthe manthat birds
and foxeshave homes,butJesuscallshimself the Sonof maninboth accountsof thisevent.
 Revelation 2:8
"And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last,
which was dead, and is alive;"
“these saith the firstand the last,which was dead, and is alive”compared to Revelation 1:13-18.

Who lived and died, and lives for evermore? Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:20-27
“But Now is Christrisen fromthe dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”
“For sinceby man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead,”
“For as in Adam all die,even so in Christshall all bemade alive.”
“But every man in his own order: Christthe firstfruits;afterward they that are Christ’s athis coming.”
“Then cometh the end, when he shall haveput down all ruleand all authority and power.”
“For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.”
“The lastenemy that shall bedestroyed is death.”
“For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things areputunder him, itis manifestthat he is
excepted which did put all things under him.”
When Stephen was being stoned to death, he sawJesus (God the Son) on the righthand of God (God the father).
Acts 7:55-60
“But he being filled with the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and sawthe glory of God, and Jesus
standingon the righthand of God,”
“And said,Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standingon the righthand of God”
“Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stoped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,”
“And casthim out of the city,and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet,
whose name was Saul.”
“And they stoned Stephen, callingupon God, and saying,Lord Jesus,receive my spirit.”

Hebrews4:12 & 13
“For the word of God is quick,andpowerful,andsharperthananytwoedgedsword,piercingevento
the dividingasunderof soul andspirit,andof the jointsandmarrow,and isa discernerof the thoughts
and intentsof the heart.”
“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight:but all things arenaked and opened unto the eyes of
whom we have to do.”
John 1:1-3 & 14
“In the beginningwas the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
“The same was in the beginningwith God.”
“All things were made by him: and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
“And the Word was made flesh,and dwelt among us,(and we beheld his glory,the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Before Jesus came to earth in a form of a man, he was the literal words.Jesus was in the beginning with God,
because he is God. Every “thus saith the LORD” is Jesus before he came to earth. All the words in your Bibleis the
Word of God. The reason a Bibleis referred to as a double edged sword is becausenot only does the Biblemake a

6. lostperson feel guilty for sin,but itmakes a Christian feel guilty as well.No one is immune to the POWER of the
WORD OF GOD. It even knows our thoughts and our intentions when we read it. IT will teach you, startyour day
with the WORD OF GOD.
 Revelation 2:18
"And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath
eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;"
Compare “saith the Son of God, who hath eyes likeunto a flame of fire, and his feet arelikefine brass” to
Revelation 1:13-15.
“And in the midstof the seven candlesticksonelikeunto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot,
and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.”
“His head and his hairswere white likewool,as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;”
“And his feet like unto finebrass,as If they burned in a furnace; and his voiceas the sound of many
waters.”
Jesus is the Son of God, although many mistakenly give all the creditto mary. She actually had NOTHING to do with
the conception of Christ,all shedid was conceiveJesus. The angel told her Jesus would be called THE SON OF GOD,
not the son of mary.
Luke 1:30-35
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hastfound favour with God.”
“And, behold, thou shaltconceivein thy womb, and bringforth a son, and shaltcall hisnameJESUS.”
“He shall begreat, and shall becalled the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall giveunto him the throne of
his father David;”
“And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall beno end.”
“Then said Mary unto the angel,How shall this be,seeing I know not a man?”
“And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall comeupon thee, and the power of the Highest
shall overshadowthee: therefore also that holy thing which shall beborn of thee shall becalled the Son of God.”
Jesus is in the lineageof David,but Jesus doesn’t give the honor to David.It all goes back to God, The honour and
glory is God’s.
Luke 20:41-44
“And he said unto them, How say they that Christis David’s son?”
“And David himself saith in the book of Psalms,The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my righthand,”
“Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
“David therefore calleth himLord, how is he then his son?”

7. ISAIAH 42:8 SAYS
“I AM THE LORD: THAT IS MY NAME: AND MY GLORY WILL I NOT GIVE TO ANOTHER, NEITHER MY PRAISE TO
GRAVEN IMAGES.”
JOHN 4:24 SAYS
“GOD IS A SPIRIT: AND THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRITAND IN TRUTH.”

x.) John1:1-3 & 14 explainthatJesuswas the wordandthe word wasGod:

z.) “faithful andtrue witness”.Thisis areference tothe HolySpirit, toGod the father,andto the
trinity.

- (heb10:15) Whereof the HolyGhostalsois a witnesstous:for afterthat he had saidbefore,
- (Heb2:3) How shall we escape,if we neglectsogreatsalvation;whichatthe firstbeganto be
spokenbythe Lord, and wasconfirmeduntousby themthatheard him;
- (Heb2:4) God alsobearingthemwitness, bothwithsignsandwonders,andwithdiversmiracles,

- (1John5:7) For there are three thatbear recordin heaven, the Father,the Word, andthe Holy
Ghost:and these three are one.
- (1John5:8) Andthere are three that bearwitnessinearth,the spirit,andthe water,andthe
blood:and these three agree inone.
- (1John5:9) If we receive the witnessof men,the witnessof Godisgreater: for thisis the
witnessof Godwhich he hath testifiedofhisSon.
- (1John5:10) He that believethonthe Sonof God haththe witness inhimself:he that believeth
not God hath made hima liar; because he believethnotthe recordthatGod gave of hisSon.
- (1John5:11) Andthisis the record,that God hath giventous eternal life,andthislife isinhis
Son.
- (1John5:12) He that haththe Sonhath life;andhe that hathnot the Son of God hath not life.
- (Rev1:5) Andfrom JesusChrist,whoisthe faithful witness,andthe firstbegottenof the dead,
and the prince of the kingsof the earth.Unto himthat lovedus,andwashedus fromour sinsin

aa.)“the Amen”we see thiswordusedinthese versesasa way to say‘it’strue’.Let’sevaluate.

- (Rev1:7) Behold,he comethwithclouds;andeveryeye shall see him,andtheyalsowhich
piercedhim:andall kindredsof the earthshall wail because of him.Evenso,Amen.
- (Rev1:17) AndwhenIsaw him,I fell athisfeetasdead. Andhe laidhisrighthandupon me,

Conclusion:be waryof false teachersandangels.Theywill come asangelsof light.
- (2Cor 11:14) And nomarvel;forSatan himself istransformedintoanangel of light.
- (2Cor 11:15) Therefore it isno greatthingif hisministersalsobe transformedasthe ministersof
righteousness; whose endshall be accordingtotheirworks.
- (Gal 1:6) I marvel thatye are so soonremovedfromhimthat calledyouintothe grace of Christ
untoanothergospel:
- (Gal 1:7) Whichis notanother; but there be some that trouble you,andwouldpervertthe
gospel of Christ.
- (Gal 1:8) But thoughwe,or an angel fromheaven,preachanyothergospel untoyouthanthat
whichwe have preacheduntoyou,lethimbe accursed.
- (Gal 1:9) As we saidbefore,sosayI now again, If any[man] preach anyothergospel untoyou
than that ye have received,lethimbe accursed.
- (Gal 1:10) For do I nowpersuade men,orGod? or do I seektoplease men?forif I yetpleased
men,I shouldnotbe the servantof Christ.
- (2Cor 11:3) But I fear,lestbyany means,asthe serpentbeguiledEve throughhissubtilty,so
your mindsshouldbe corruptedfrom the simplicitythatisinChrist.
God’sangelswill askyouto worshipGod. Don’tbelievethose whoclaimtobe incontact with
angels.
- (Rev14:6) AndI sawanotherangel flyinthe midstof heaven,havingthe everlastinggospel to
preachunto themthat dwell onthe earth,andto everynation,andkindred,andtongue,and
people,
- (Rev14:7) Sayingwitha loudvoice,FearGod,and give glorytohim;for the hour of hisjudgment
