unto me. And now have I given all these lands into
the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon,
my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given
him also to serve him. And all nations shall serve
him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very
time of his land come: and then many nations and
great kings shall serve themselves of him. ...that
nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the
sword, and with the famine, and with the
pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known
unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods,
nor worship the golden image which thou hast set
up. Then these men were bound in their coats, their
hosen, and their hats, and their [other] garments, and
were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

15. A DECREE: THE KING’S LAW
DANIEL 3:28, 29
Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed [be]
the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who
hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that
trusted in him, and have changed the king's word,
and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve
nor worship any god, except their own God.
Therefore I make a decree, That every people,
nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss
against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and against
Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses
shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other
God that can deliver after this sort.

nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth;
Peace be multiplied unto you. I make a decree, That
in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and
fear before the God of Daniel: for he [is] the living
God, and steadfast for ever, and his kingdom [that]
which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion
[shall be even] unto the end.
