Bullying, problems at home, and not fitting in are three causes of school violence according to the document. School violence ranges from shootings to fights to threats and stems from students being tormented by bullies, experiencing issues like abuse or parental fighting at home, or not sharing interests with peers and feeling like they do not fit in. While school violence has shocking and saddening effects, it can potentially be prevented by addressing the root causes and ensuring students feel supported.

What Causes School Violence? - An Essay Related to Cause and Effect.
Recently, there have been reports of school shootings in various parts of the country.
School violence is a form of violence so shocking that it makes us wonder two things: Why such
an awful thing exists and why certain people go through endangering the lives of innocent
people. Situations like this sadden not only parents, teachers, and children, but also the whole
country, maybe the world. School violence is an effect that has three causes that I know of:
bullying, problems at home, and not fitting in at school.
One cause of school violence is bullying; it is when one student frequently torments one
student or more than one student. Sometimes, it is two students tormenting only one student. It
comes in many forms, even though times have changed. Or in other words, bullies have gone
from physically harming children to bullying them on Facebook. I based my opinion on the
many television shows and movies that I have watched. Bullying is caused by many elements,
but I will not list them.
School violence and bullying are effects that both share a similar cause, problems at
home. Almost everyone has problems at home, such as abuse (any form), household debt,
parental fighting, sickness, divorce, affairs, abandonment, and death. Those kinds of problems
can have a negative effect on everyone in the family, especially the children because they are

more likely to be bullied or become bullies. This result can be avoided if children with these
issues could at least talk to their teachers, counselors, administrators, and ministers every day to
develop a positive view of life.
Now, another cause of school violence is not fitting in at school. It is okay to be different;
some children do not share the same interests as their peers. For example, some are into sports,
but others are not. Some are into academics, such as mathematics, science, art, drama, or all of
the above, while some of these students do not share the same interests. Sometimes, it is okay to
continue with your interests, while at the same time, it is okay to try new things. If children want
to fit in at school, they should be themselves.
Finally, bullying, problems at home and not fitting in are the three of the causes of school
violence; it varies from school shootings to fights to threats. Like its causes, school violence can
both end in bad results and can also be prevented. There should be steps on how to prevent a
school shooting or how to be prepared in case one happens.
