“ Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.” – Groucho Marx In the old days….. Libraries were only places for books. The catalog was a file cabinet full of handwritten note cards. The collections were mostly donated from townspeople once they were done reading them. Librarians went around “Ssshhhhhing” people.
“ You see, I don't believe that libraries should be drab places where people sit in silence, and that's been the main reason for our policy of employing wild animals as librarians.” – Monty Python Today…. Libraries are full of various print and electronic tools and resources. The collections and resources actively reflect what our community needs and wants.
