PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Healthways/SilverSneakers FLEX Program Liaison: Healthways
Assist fitness instructors through the registration process to become FLEX instructors for the SilverSneakers
Program, and to schedule individual classes within the Healthways network. This includes completing items such
as: W9, direct deposit forms, reviewing and submitting certifications and credentials, reviewing personal liability
insurance policies for accuracy, reviewing class participation for accuracy and minimum requirements,
renegotiating pay structures, developing correspondence for group information.
Seniors Recreation Leader: Lexington Fayette Urban County Government
Lead seniors through a variety of activities on a part time basis including: crafts, fitness classes and outings to local
area locations.
Group Fitness and Water Safety Instructor: YMCA of Central Kentucky
Teach various formats of group fitness classes, as well as provide swimming instruction for all skill levels of children
ages 6months to 12 years.
Group Fitness Instructor: PROOF FITNESS

2. Corporate Group Fitness Director: Global Fitness Holdings
Managed a department of 19 group fitness directors and 500+ fitness instructors in 35 fitness facilities. Developed
program budgets and payroll over 1.7 million dollars annually, program development, hiring/training/evaluating
directors and instructors, customer service, equipment inventory/repair/order, developed policies/procedures
and best practices for department, program marketing and special event planning and implementation. Use of
various social media for marketing, member retention and interaction. Developed 10 new class formats for the
club chain which were trademarked. Taught various formats of fitness/wellness classes. Created and implemented
annual Innovative Instructor Weekend: 3 days of continuing education for group fitness instructors
Healthways/SilverSneakers Liaison: Global Fitness Holdings
Included registration of participants, tracking and reporting attendance, program development including fitness
classes/social events/educational opportunities for seniors, creating and maintaining open lines of
communication between Healthways and the club level employees, providing excellent customer service and
support to the SilverSneakers member. Create member surveys and input/track results to implement changes in
program.
Part Time Instructor, KHP 210: University of Kentucky
Taught the course KHP 210 for a professor who was on sabbatical. Presented daily class lesson plans, and tests.
This class included a diverse group of students from various majors.

hangers, calendars, surveys etc. Also included development, organizing and implementing various marketing and
