This document provides a checklist for inspecting welding machines. The checklist contains 12 items to inspect, including ensuring the welding machine and components like leads and holders are physically sound and properly connected. Additional safety items include properly grounding the machine, providing a fire extinguisher and retardant materials, and only allowing experienced operators to perform welding work. Upon completion of the inspection, the checklist is signed off to indicate if the welding machine passed inspection and is fit for use.

1 Welding machine should be physically sound and in working condition.
2 Switches should be free from damage and properly insulated.
3 Welding and return led connection should be properly tight by means of
socket/lugs.
4 Welding and return led should be free from damage for eg. Cut, Open,
too many joints, etc..
5 Welding holder should be in good condition without any metal contact.
6 Earthing holder should be in good condition and free from rust.
7 Welding machine should be grounded properly.
8 Make suitable fire extinguisher at work place.
9 Make fire retardant material available at work place.
10 Provide welding booth or proper work station whenever required.
11 Welding work to be carried out by experience and competent person.
12 All Cable should be damage free and always use industrial plug to take
power connection.
