Fr. Francis Xavier is a Catholic priest from Uganda who has been assigned to serve in Southwest Virginia. He was born in 1969 in Uganda and attended seminary there, being ordained in 1998. As a priest, he has served as a curate for three years and spent 10 years as a chaplain before being assigned abroad. He is excited to experience the people and culture of Southwest Virginia.
