EDITORIAL

                 SERVICE THROUGH THE OCCUPATION (SATO)

“Of the thousand and one ways of being useful to the society that we have,

the most accessible, and often the most effective, relates to our own occupations …”

                                                                          Paul Harris.

This is an important avenue of service of Rotary Intenational, as much as
the other four, and are the tracks that make up the objective of R.I., which
motivates us and drives to do everything imaginable and dream, for others,
without thinking about it.

The occupation service allows us to encourage everyone we can achieve,
with our ethics Rotary standards, to comply with them and that they comply
with the daily development of their professions, jobs and occupations,
providing to the community.

That is why it is necessary, that permanently our Rotary clubs of the world,
play these rules and distribute them to new groups of professionals and
workers, by sectors of society, to improve ethical business behavior.

We must use Rotarian motivational ways to come closer to the large
groups of professionals and workers in general, in order to distribute
information on ethical Rotary, to reinforce their remarkable behaviors to the
community service.

We can also select every year one or more professionals and workers who
stand out in service to grant them a Rotarian distinction, because they
perform actions that go beyond the normal and everyday care that they
provide to their users and demonstrate very notable ethical traits.
