The elements I will include in my website's navigation bar menu
■ Home page
■ Sections: Education, Science &Technology, Politics, Business, Economics, Asia, North & SouthAmerica, Australia,
Africa, Antarctica.
■ Magazine issues: including the online printed editions of my magazines.
■ Podcast: this will be my audio visual element as through my research I’ve found it to be quite popular amongst current
affair magazines.

3. My linked page
■ I will have linked pages throughout my website to ensure that my website is easy to navigate. News headlines on my home page will have links to
other pages by one simple click like “For more news about ... click here”.
■ In each one of my section pages (Education, Science &Technology, Politics, Business, Economics, Asia, North & SouthAmerica, Australia, Africa,
Antarctica), I will have these types of news titles at the bottom of the page and when you click each one, it will take you to the page on my website
with that type of news. For example, clicking “Science &Technology” will take you to my page with news headlines covering that topic, etc.
■ I will also have many linked pages in my editorial. Such as, when you click one of the following: “education”, “science & technology”, “politics”,
”business”, “economics”, “Asia”, “North & SouthAmerica”, “Australia”, “Africa”, “Antarctica”, it will take you to that page on my website. Or when you
click “magazine issues”, it will take you to my page showing my magazine editions, just like when you click “podcast” it will take you to my page
featuring the magazine’s podcast, or when you click “Facebook”, “Twitter”, or “Instagram”, it will open a new tab to each of the magazine’s social
media pages.
I have added links to certain words throughout my website so that I do not need to actually outright put a link which would create a messy look on my
website, but instead, when you click on certain words, it will take you to that page, therefore creating a clear-looking, easy to navigate website.
■ I also have three icons which are located top right of my website, which are forTwitter, Instagram, and Facebook – my magazine’s three social media
platforms. When you click either of these icons, it will take you straight to my magazine’sTwitter, Instagram, or Facebook page.
How I’m going to ensure consistency
■ I am going to ensure consistency in the house style of the printed and online editions of my magazine through having a consistent masthead, font
type (sans serif), colour scheme (black, red, and white – the same colours on my magazine’s contents pages, use of images and editorial.
The name of my magazine
■ The name of my magazine will be currenteye.co.uk. This is because it includes the name of my magazine (Current Eye) plus an extension (.co.uk).
