 He has obtained M.Sc in medical surgical nursing,M.A
in sociology, psychology and childcare & education,
M.Phil in education and P.G diploma in hospital
administration.
 He has completed several assignments with and is an
examiner for Rajiv Gandhi University of health sciences
& other universities in India.
 He is a life member of Ph.D Society of India, Nursing
Research Society of India, Trained Nurses Association of
India, Christian Medical Association of India, Indian
Society of Psychiatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing
Society of India, Indian Society of Neuroscience Science
Nursing, and Asian Association of Cardiac Nurses.
 He is the general secretary of Indian Society of medical-
surgical Nurses and member of Indian Red Cross Society and
theNationalResearchSocietyofIndia.
 He is associated in editorial capacity with the Indian Journal of
Practical Nursing and National Editorial Advisory Board ,New
Delhi.
 He has organized many workshops and presented research
papersinseminars.
 He has contributed articles to the Nightingale Nursing Times, the
Nursing Journal of India, the Journal of the Christian Medical
Association of India, the Nurses of India, the Journal of Holistic
Nursing ,the Indian Journal of Nursing and the Asian Journal of
cardiacNursing,andhas severalbooks tohiscredit.
 He is recipient of Florence Nightingale Award-2013,Rajiv Gandhi
Education Excellence Award and National Mahila Rattan Gold

invited as guest faculty at various national & international

Hospital Administration and Human Resources.

teacher of the year , Texila world conference for scholars ,

World Tuberculosis Day, observed on 24 March
each year, is designed to build public awareness
about the global epidemic of tuberculosis and
efforts to eliminate the disease. In 2018, 10 million
people fell ill with TB, and 1.5 million died from
the disease, mostly in low and middle-income
countries.
