over the Internet using streaming media
technology to distribute a single content source
to many simultaneous listeners/viewers.*
• The first webcast was in 1995 by Apple and was
an audio event event.*
• Connecting Media was one of the first
companies to do live webcasting using a special
IFP Van (Internet Field Production) dedicated to
webcasting.*
