In this project, students will research and present their knowledge of Chinese culture as expressed through various art forms and literature. They will use the internet to find information, images, music, stories and artworks to display in school lobby exhibits and presentations for students and parents. Students will each specialize in one theme of Chinese culture - such as art, festivals, music, or dance - and work with peers to design an exhibit area focused on their theme. On opening night, students will give speeches as docents to discuss and reflect on the works presented in the exhibit.

1. In this WebQuest, the students will research and present their new knowledge of the Chinese Culture as they appear in art and literature (music, dance, art, legend). They will use internet to find information, gather sample images, music, story and artwork to display in school lobby bulletin boards, and prepare live presentation for students and parents. The students will become research experts in their own Chinese Cultural Exposition.

You must prepare to be a docent giving speeches and rehearse performances5. Exhibit Opening Preview – Preview the exhibit before the opening night with who have helped in constructing the show for docent presentation.
