Weather vane
A weather vane is a tool used to show wind
direction. The wind blows the weather vane and
whatever the wind direction is blowing shows
because the four points on the weather vane are
like a compass. The arrow on top points in the
direction that the wind is coming from. Here is a
picture of the largest weather vane.
It is located in Paris,
France.

Anemometer
A anemometer is a tool that measures the speed of
wind. There are different kinds of anemometers
like a windmill anemometer it looks a little different
than a cup anemometer but both really measure the
same thing. This is how is works the wind goes into
the cups and then it spins it as fast as the wind is Cup Anemometer from

going that day. Wikipedia

Barometer
A barometer measures air pressure.
    Low pressure means bad weather
because evaporated water rises easier into
the sky and is turned into rain.
    High pressure means good weather
because evaporated water has difficulty
rising because of the higher air pressure.
Thermometer
Thermometer from wikipedia

A thermometer measures the
temperature. It measures Fahrenheit
and Celsius. If the “mercury” is low, then
                                                 Thermometer from
                                                  Weather wizkids
