3. December is a month dedicated to Christmas. In Greece, we
make Christmas sweets, melomakarona, kourambiedes and
diples.

5. Santa Claus brings presents to the children in Greece at the 31st
of December.

6. At the 24th of December the children go to people’s houses and
sing Christmas carols and they give them money or sweets.

7. At the 31st of December we eat vassilopita, which is a cake with a
coin inside of it. Whoever finds the coin in his piece of cake is the
lucky one of the new year!
