This document discusses the weather patterns in Germany throughout 2014. While the changing of seasons is usually prominent, marked by changes in nature like trees budding and leaves falling, the weather did not clearly reflect the different seasons last year. January and February were supposed to be the coldest months but saw unusually warm temperatures. June and July, normally the hottest months, were also warmer than winter but without true summer weather. By October, autumn leaves were changing but the sun was unusually warm, an atypical weather pattern that obscured the typical experience of distinct seasons throughout the year in Germany.
