We are all connected to the Earth and each other. Whatever we do to the natural world, we do to ourselves. Looking at life through a spiritual lens, we can find renewal and energy from nature, even in difficult times. Though the weather may be uneven, life continues to emerge. As the trees and Earth renew themselves, we too can find what we need for everyday life all around us, if we learn to listen and see the everyday divine in the life that surrounds us.
Global blights can be resolved by individuals getting together. Global warming and global arming are symptoms of our failure to obtain joy in our individual lives.

My Nature Reflection
Once you look all around you, you realize that all living creatures are miracles of nature. Our world is full of real wonders which make it incredible if you are willing to view it that way. However, sadly enough, most people’s outlook on life is to take everything around them for granted or with despair.

This is a Slide-Show which is used with music in my Community Cohesion workshops. I can provide with music on a DVD from my website.
The slide-show takes 20 minutes and contains over 200 slides. It introduces life on the planet, family and friends before exploring some causes of suffering - war, poverty and global warming.
Some images are disturbing so I would not show this to anyone under 14 years of age. It is really designed for KS4 and older.
Anyone who would like a workshop - and my workshops really do make a difference - can contact me on info@bluelotus.co

This small e-book contains a number of articles written between 2013 and 2016 on some of my favourite topics – from tiger beetles and snakes to issues concerning biodiversity conservation, to celebrating the natural richness of our planet. Some are a story in themselves, some are drawn from personal experiences, and most are stand-alone articles written to provoke a creative thought and a positive attitude.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

HANUMAN STORIES: TIMELESS TEACHINGS FOR TODAY’S WORLD
Â
We do not take our energy from the earth, we are a part of the energy of the earth
1. The
creation
of a
thousand
forests
is in one
acorn
2. We Need
To Remind
Ourselves Of
Something Very
Simple… You
Can't Spell Heart
Without
All Of Earth.
3. Today We Want
To Remember
To Look At Life
Through A
Spiritual Lens
- Remember
Because Deep
Within Us
We Already
Know How.
4. From The
Beginning Of
Time We Have
Understand
And Held As
Sacred The
Concept Of
Connectedness.
5. Humankind has not
woven the web of
life. We are but one
thread within it.
Whatever we do to
the web, we do to
ourselves. All things
are bound together.
All things connect.
~Chief Seattle, 1855
6. So what does it
mean to us?
Obviously one
would hope that
we can understand
that what we do
matters. But
connectedness,
also means
renewal.
7. It means that we
can look to the
earth to receive
our energy – not
just hydro and
fossil fuels and
wind and sun but
the spiritual
renewal we need
each day.
8. Look outside and
see how the earth is
renewing itself.
While it looks like it
isn’t doing anything
– while we think it
has been too cold, or
dry – it is suddenly
full of life
9. Think to yourself if
this tree can bring
the bounty of life in
the midst of uneven
weather the least
you can do .. is
everything on your
list. Find the energy
you need for
everyday
all around you
10. We can see the
everyday divine
if we look at the
life around us
through a
spiritual lens.
We just need to
learn to listen
11. Climb the mountains
and get their good
tidings. Nature's peace
will flow into you as
sunshine flows into
trees. The winds will
blow their own
freshness into you, and
the storms their
energy, while cares will
drop off like autumn
leaves. ~John Muir
12. Within the earth
around us is the
very mystery of life
itself, means that
we understand
that sometimes we
must seek
protection, shelter,
watch for signs of
danger.
13. Again, this is a gift the
world gives to us…for
the same is true of all
of our life, in our
relationships and
things we give our life
to, and everyday
reality, sometimes
We must
seek that same shelter,
watch for dangers,
weather the storms.
14. We do not take
our energy from
the earth,
we are a part of
the energy
of the earth.
15. John Muir wrote:
I only went out
for a walk and
finally concluded
to stay out till
sundown,
for going out,
I found, was
really going in.
16. As you live in this
world, may you
find yourself in
the presence of
the divine, and
know that the
divine is finding
its presence
in you.
17. Only when the last
tree has died and
the last river been
poisoned and the
last fish been
caught will we
realise we cannot
eat money.
~Cree Proverb
