Healthcare Communications Leaders Join Forces to Launch Watershed Bridges™ LLC
Micro-network brings together industry thought-leaders to share resources and offer clients
a wider array of services around the world
New York, NY – December 12, 2016 – Nearly a dozen experts in healthcare communications
today announced the launch of Watershed Bridges™ LLC, a micro-network that fuses
disciplines to generate markedly better outcomes. Watershed Bridges offers clients the
opportunity to tap into leading thinkers in the fields of patient behavior, medical education,
health policy, communication science, experiential marketing, digital/social media,
advertising, healthcare branding, corporate communications, reputation management,
narrative development and storytelling, as well as patient engagement.
Watershed Bridges breaks with the old-school agency model by inviting industry leaders to
join forces. Each member company within Watershed Bridges shares its resources and
pledges to support each member’s business. The intent is to be geographically diverse and
offer clients a wider array of services — significantly more than any one of these
independent companies could do on their own.
Spearheading the breakthrough business model is healthcare PR veteran Bob Chandler,
former President of inVentiv Health Communications and co-founder of Chandler Chicco
Companies. Chandler has also just announced his new venture, MaxAscent™ LLC, a
communications consultancy aiming to work with industry-leading healthcare companies
to ensure, engage and facilitate productive conversations with their consumers and
patients.

multidisciplinary creative organization with expertise in design, campaign and
digital works, dedicated to the strategic creation and transformation of brands for a
connected world.
 Dan McIntyre, principal at Publick House, a consultancy specializing in integrated
public affairs – the point where policy, communication, advocacy and government
relations intersect. Publick House operates primarily in biopharmaceuticals and
health care.
 Craig Rothenberg, founder and CEO of Rothenberg Communication LLC, a
communication consultancy that provides senior level strategic counsel and support
to business and communication leaders across all types of organizations. Areas of
focus include leadership coaching, narrative development, storytelling and strategic
planning and implementation.
 Steve Simcox, managing partner of HealthTalker specializing in grassroots, word
of mouth marketing for the pharmaceutical, public policy and provider sectors of
the healthcare industry.
 Kristi Bridges is the president and Chief Creative Officer of Sawtooth, a full-service
creative agency with services that span creative, media and content generation and

distribution. Sawtooth has deep expertise in the food and beverage industry with a
real passion around the health and wellness space.
 Vince Parry, president and chief branding officer of Parry Branding Group, a full-
service healthcare branding consultancy, which he launched in November 2012.
 Dave Emmerling, partner in Midnight Media Group, Inc., a video production
company that has focused on the pharmaceutical industry for the past 35 years.
 Bryan Kaye, CEO & Digital/Social Media Strategy Consultant, Pharma/Healthcare

About Bob Chandler
Bob Chandler is the former President of inVentiv Health Communications and Senior Vice
President of Marketing and Communications of inVentiv Health. Bob is President Emeritus
of Chandler Chicco Companies, a collective of communications and public relations firms
focusing on healthcare and consumer health, part of the inVentiv Health network. Having
co-founded Chandler Chicco Companies (CCC) in 1995 with his business partner,
Gianfranco Chicco, Bob built CCC to become synonymous with healthcare communications
and public relations. CCC joined inVentiv Health Communications in 2007, which has since
grown into a world leader in healthcare advertising and marketing services, with over
1,600 people in 70 international offices spanning 40 countries, reaching more than 50
markets. While Bob led the Communication Division, clients included all of the top 10
largest pharmaceutical companies, 19 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, and all of
the top five largest biotech companies.
In 2014, Bob was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Communique. In
2010, he received the SABRE Lifetime Achievement Award from The Holmes Report. In
2007, Bob was awarded the Ohio University Alumni Medal of Merit.
Previously, Bob was Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Burson-
Marsteller’s healthcare practice and president of the agency’s The Biotech Group. He also
served as VP/ assistant administrator for marketing and public affairs at Methodist
Hospital in Brooklyn. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at The Ranney School.
He chairs the Admissions and Marketing Committee, is a member of the Executive

Committee, and is the Board lead for the school’s Crisis/ Issues Team. Bob is also a member
of the Board of Trustees at the Count Basie Theatre, Red Bank, New Jersey.
