  1. Volunteers are critical to the operation and service delivery of NFPs. Yet NFPs face greater challenges in recruiting, retaining and managing volunteers than for-profit organizations do for their employees. Between 40 and 70 percent of NFPs report difficulty in retaining volunteers, while another 50% report a lack of internal capacity in managing volunteers as an issue. Studies show that volunteer turnover is over one third year over year.
  2. Market is valued at $10 / month for NGOs that reported a problem volunteer activities.
