World Rally Championship.
The Polo loves a challenge. In 2013, when it debuted at the World Rally Championship (WRC), the results were nothing
short of spellbinding. The 1.6L turbocharged Race Polo, which uses the same block and head gasket as a production
Polo, sped away with top honours in its very first year of participation. It won ten of the thirteen rallies it participated in
and made it to the podium eight more times, securing the championship title for its drivers, Sebastien Ogier and Julien

Volkswagen Warranty & Extended Warranty: The New Volkswagen
Polo comes with a standard warranty of two years, unlimited kilometres
and can be extended at an additional cost for a further one year and up
to 80,000 kms. Or two years and up to 1,00,000 kms from the date of
sale (whichever is earlier). All this, to protect your car against the defects
of most mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing
defects. All periodic maintenance at recommended intervals and
warranty work must be completed by an authorised Volkswagen dealer.
3-year Paint Warranty & 6-year Anti-perforation Warranty:
The paintwork of the New Polo is covered against manufacturing
defects for a period up to three years and the vehicle body parts for
a period of six years from date of sale against perforation caused
by corrosion. Naturally, the New Polo must be cared for in compliance
with the operating instructions which will be found in your vehicle
handbook and all body repairs must be done at an authorised
Volkswagen dealer.
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance: Every new car is registered for
Volkswagen India Roadside Assistance for two years from its date of
sale. This provides the vehicle with home and roadside recovery
in the unlikely event of a breakdown anywhere in India (subject to terms
and conditions). This service can be extended for two additional years.
For more details, please consult the nearest authorised Volkswagen
dealer. Further details for the Warranty: Please contact your Volkswagen
dealer or Volkswagen India Assistance, 24x7, anytime, anywhere.
Periodic Maintenance: The service interval of your Volkswagen is
scheduled every 15,000 kms or one year. With a free inspection at
7,000 kms or 6 months, whichever is earlier.
