This document discusses the development of a mobile app for Volkswagen car salesmen. The app allows customers to view Volkswagen's car portfolio, compare models, and understand pricing and financing schemes. The client wanted a simple way to provide detailed product information to customers. We helped by creating a new tool for salesmen that displays vehicle and color options with pricing details. It also shows financing schemes through graphs and allows salesmen to track interested customers and expected decision dates.
We tend to call it Developer portal, but in reality we have to address many more stakeholders than “just” developers. Especially when your APIs are linked to a complex (although market-leading!) B2B trade insurance product. We give it a try…
