This document discusses plans to add a voice activated assistant named Beardy to Typeform's form building tool. The assistant would allow users to create typeforms using voice commands rather than writing, which could increase question addition by 12% and PRO+ subscriptions by 20%. ● Users can build a typeform through voice commands from the
Build window
● Users can undo which question boxes were inputed
● Users can see a preview of the typeform before sending it
● Users should be confident that they have successfully created a
functional typeform, that gathers responses once created

12. Design req. Engineering req.
● We should store our photos on our servers so
that users can access typeforms, even if they
move to another device
● Previews for question boxes should be
10X600 pixels
● We should show a “OK” label when a voice
command has been accepted
● We need a voice query database that can scale
500 million queries for 2MB each (to avoid
tech debt)
● Will need to pull user IDs from the user
profiles database
● Develop proprietary knowledge for data
sifting and analysis
