– Dialysis is a medical procedure in which this technique of molecular separation is used to
remove metabolic waste products or toxic substances from the blood when your kidneys
are unable to do so. Dialysis is required for individuals with severe kidney failure.

Quick overview
5. “to love one another”. Jesus constantly reminds us to love God totally, to love each other
unconditionally.
Love and patience while working in Dialysis has everything to do with Christian life.
It is important to love God, with all your heart, and to understand what strengths you have
to loving your patient and yourself. God loves the world he created, and he had a plan when
he created man. We are here to serve those in need.
As I entered the world of dialysis, I immediately found that Christianity is intended to gather
together and be creative. That is exactly what we do in dialysis.
– Allowing all faiths and ethical values to enter my faith through my gift of life.
Unit 4 and my role as a Dialysis Technician
6. The Work of our Hands
With each and every treatment, my hands
are blessed by God.
–For I, the Lord your God, hold your right
hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I
am the one who helps you.” Isaiah 41:13
7. We all need a day to rest, and I found this out personally.
– Being over committed to a job
– Not listening to signs of illness early
– God inspires us to rest, because it does not come natural. Therefore, in order to rest, we have to
trust that God will take care of things for us. The bible does not condone being a workaholic. We
work to bring glory to God, it is important not to work ourselves to the ground or to the extent that
our health declines and or our families suffer from our neglect. Since God expects us to have and
carry a strong work ethic, it is also important to take time to rest. God wants us to rest, and to have
trust in him that he will take care of things for us.
1Peter 5:7 Casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.
Why Rest is important
