Activity Two (10 minutes)
• Students review certain useful vocabulary that have been mentioned in the two videos via Kahoot
(https://kahoot.com/schools-u/).
(learner-content interaction)
Kahoot is an online language learning platform where students can practice language learning by playing games.
How to use it?
First, teachers create exercises on this platform, the response formats that can be designed include both selected response
(multiple choices, true/false, matching…) and constructed response (gap-filling, short answers…).
Then, during the class, teachers provide students with a link of the exercise web page . Students use their cell phones to click on
the link and sign up with their usernames to start doing the exercise. Students are supposed to finish each exercise as quickly as
possible within the time limit to get the points (by either selecting the corresponding options or typing the answers using their
phones). At the end of the exercise, there will be a rank of students’ grades.
