• Understanding basic machines viz. levers, pulley
etc
• Hands on Practice with IC Engine, introduction to
2 wheeler & 4 wheeler engine and 100HP diesel
engine. Maintenance of Engines;
• Familiarization with different types of bearings
and maintenance of bearings;
• Hands on practice with Gear box, coupling, shafts,
exposure to different types of gears and
maintenance of gear boxes
• Hands on practice and exposure on Hydraulic
machines i.e. Cylinder; pump; control valves etc.
and maintenance of Hydraulic machinery and
power packs.
• Lubricants, practices of lubrication (manual,
semi-automatic, automatic , and characteristics
of lubricants. Fuels;
• Hands on practice with Machine tools like
lathe machine job making and maintenance of
Machine tools.
• Hands on exposure to Welding and
familiarization with Engineering welding; safety
and tests of weld joints, different types of
welding;
• Balancing and Hands on practice with
automobile wheel balancing;
• Electrical House wiring, components and
Hands on exposure with all components;
• Hands on exposure with electrical machines
like motors, transformers, assembling and
dismantling of motors, starters and other
elements of control panels.
• Cables, busbar, insulating materials,
transformer oil,
• Maintenance and repair practices on electrical
machines with emphasis on safety.
• Understanding a machine, equipment and
plant. Integration of all the 3.
• Installation of new Machine/equipment/plant.
• Maintenance of Engineering Equipment;
• Trouble shooting on Engineering Equipment;
