Virtual tour third floor 2018
1. The easiest way to get to the third floor is to take the elevator from the first floor reference stack area. Or you may
take the central stairs to the second floor, go past the double doors and make a right in the hallway to get to the
stairs that lead to the third floor. The third floor has stacks PM-Z, Oversized Collection, Connecticut Collection,
Theses/Dissertations, group study rooms, reading areas, Teaching and Learning Center, and FYE & FSSP Offices.

2. Here are the elevators on the third floor. Directly across from the elevator is Room 346. If you make a
right when you get off the elevator you will see the oversized books, the Connecticut Collection, and
theses/dissertations.

3. Study Room 345 is on the other side of Room 346. On the right is an image of both study rooms side by side as
seen from the third floor stacks.

4. Rooms 348 and 349 are to the right near the oversized stacks. When you get off the third floor elevators, take a
right to get to these rooms.

6. The Oversized stacks, the Connecticut Room collection and Theses/Dissertations are shelved after the Z
section. Directly across is Room 350, the office of the Director of Institutional Research.

7. Rooms 350 and 351 (Office of the Director of Institutional Research) are located on the far end of the
third floor on the Fitch Street side.
9. Two more reading rooms are located on the third floor. The Mezzanine Reading Room is to the right of the hallway
with the entrance from the third floor stack area and the other reading room is on the left just outside the entrance
to the Southern Success Center. Both rooms are located directly above the second floor reading rooms.

10. The hallway between the two reading rooms leads to the Southern Success Center, Rooms 302-337.
Students can get academic assistance here such as supplemental instruction and tutoring services.
